House rules

For your safety and ours

Below you will find the most important house rules that apply throughout our hotel. We kindly ask you to respect and comply with these rules.

A valid form of identification must be presented at check-in. Check-in is only possible from the age of 18. Both guests must be 18 years or older, except in the case of parent(s) staying with their child(ren).
Cameras are installed in various areas. Anyone present in the hotel consents to possible recordings.
Lost items should be handed in at the reception desk.
Hotel Woerden is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to guests’ personal belongings.
In case of fire:
Remain calm and report the fire to the reception or use the nearest fire alarm.
Leave the building via the designated emergency exits.
Do not use the elevators.

Emergency exits may not be used as regular entrances or exits.
Damaging or removing hotel or room furnishings.
Using, trading, or possessing drugs or nitrous oxide.
Smoking anywhere in the building is prohibited. In case of violation, a €250 cleaning fee will be charged.
Lighting candles, incense, or shisha (fire hazard) is prohibited. In case of violation, a €250 fine will be charged.
Having more people in the room than permitted.
Receiving guests for commercial sexual activities.
Receiving visitors in the room unless this has been reported to the reception in advance.
Causing nuisance, for example by playing loud music, talking loudly, or engaging in other disruptive behavior.
Using decorations such as confetti without permission from the reception.

For a pleasant stay in our suites, the following additional rules apply:
Deposit: €100.00 (cash, debit card, or credit card authorization). This will be refunded via the same payment method if the suite is left in good condition.
A maximum of 2 persons per suite. Babies are allowed with the addition of a baby cot (€7.50 per night). Children under the age of 12 are only permitted when accompanied by an adult.
Pets are not allowed in the suites.

In case of violation of the house rules, management may decide to remove you from the hotel without a refund.
Serious violations may result in being placed on the Alert List or being reported to other Van der Valk Hotels.
In situations not covered by these regulations, management will make the final decision.
Management reserves the right to enter your room in case of suspected violation of the house rules.
